This Range Rover Sport clone from China is called the Gonow GX6, and sums up what the Chinese are best at- cloning. Despite the best of attempts by reputed manufacturers to prevent their precious designs from getting plagiarized, the Chinese show no signs of letting up. This latest Gonow blatantly apes the Range Rover Sport and the Evoque
In fact, they’re slowly getting better at their own game, with the products starting to look more presentable, even though they are rip offs. Dare I say this, the Gonow GX6 doesn’t look as revolting as other Chinese made copies and makes a decent case for itself as a standalone model. Even the interiors are styled keeping the RR Sport as a template.
If you’re interested further, the Gonow GX6 would be priced from 110,000 Chinese yuan, about a tenth of what a real Range Rover Sport would cost to import in China. Two engines will be offered, a 2.4-liter petrol fitted with a five-speed manual, or a 2-liter diesel fitted to six-speed.
