Matter to develop EV Car

About the debut of the car

The prestigious Formula Student UK (FS) competition, organized by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), offers an excellent platform for showcasing the latest models of motorsport. As part of this initiative, Matter has partnered with the IIT Bombay racing team, providing them with the necessary guidance and resources to facilitate their development process. The team will receive valuable support and mentorship from Matter to enhance their racing vehicle’s performance. This collaboration promises to inspire the next generation of engineers and promote sustainable mobility solutions.

Matter on the way of progress

To assist in the advancement and experimentation of components and technologies, Matter plans to utilize its technical resources at its state-of-the-art R&D center. Specifically, the 4Q Dyno testing facility for the motor controller, powerpack testing facilities, BMS testing, cell characteristic testing, and component development facility will be made available for this purpose. In addition, Matter will provide IIT Bombay students with internships in several areas of electric mobility development, such as hardware, firmware, simulation, and vehicle integration, enabling them to gain practical experience in the latest EV technology. By doing so, Matter hopes to foster a collaborative environment that promotes innovation and learning while contributing to the future of sustainable transportation.
