Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has launched the Maruti Suzuki Ritz Automatic. The Ritz Auto is available in VXi trim level. Powering the Ritz petrol is the same 1.2 Liter-K-Series, 85 PS-114 Nm petrol motor and the auto box on offer will be the same 4 speed deal that can be seen on other Maruti Suzuki cars. The manufacturer is claiming a fuel economy figure of 17.16 Kmpl for the Ritz Automatic. This figure is only a little more than 1 Kmpl lesser than the FE figure of Ritz petrol manual.
The Ritz has now joined the likes of A-Star, Swift Dzire and SX4 Automatic which also offer an auto box option and come from Maruti Suzuki stable. Apart from the automatic transmission, the Ritz VXI auto is bog similar to Ritz VXI manual and this means that the car can be bought with ABS+EBD option that is being offered. Also on offer are red dashboard inserts and the steering mounted controls for integrated audio setup comes standard.
The Maruti Suzuki Ritz Auto will go on sale for INR 6.15 lakhs (Ex showroom, Delhi) and finds itself placed bang in the middle of Honda Brio Auto and Hyundai i20 Auto.
