The all new Jaguar F Type has been lauded for its great handling and highly potent powerplant. However, the F Type, which is the spiritual successor to the E Type, sits bang in the middle of the Jaguar XK territory.
Now, this has made selling both the F-type and the XK difficult for the Tata owned British car maker and hence, Jaguar has now planned a more luxurious XK and it is being said that the next generation of the sports coupe might rather be a GT.
This means that the next XK is bound to be the biggest and most upmarket XK ever. The F-type, on the other hand, will be the lone Jaguar contender in the sports coupe segment.
