While Maruti Suzuki seems to be working on the next generation Swift, it doesn’t seem to let customer loyalty take the back seat either. Reports now suggest that the company is giving initial customers of the S-Cross a compensation package as a move to set off the loss for the recent discounts offered on the crossover.

Sold through the premium dealership known as Nexa, the crossover has received quite a weak response and ended up being sold with massive discounts. Dealers were reported to have offered discounts to the tune of 2 lakhs depending on the variant. While the move created a cheer among new customers,it in-turn disappointed earlier buyers who had lost out not only on the resale value but also on the discounts.

Action for the same came due in time with Maruti Suzuki now giving a compensation package to the early birds who bought the S-Cross. The compensation, depending upon the variant, comes in the form of a demand draft valued at Rs. 90,000 as well as a Maintenance Cost Package / extended warranty of 2 years/ 20,000 km through the Nexa range of dealerships.
