Only offered with the lower spec LXi and VXi variants until now, the Maruti Celerio’s top-end ZXi trim will now be offered with the automatic transmission option too. The introduction is a result of the manufacturer celebrating the small car’s first anniversary since launch.
The Celerio ZXi AMT also scores over the lower spec variants in terms of body colored door handles, integrated blinkers in the external mirrors which get electric adjustment and a rear wash / wipe system. Inside the cabin, the top-end variant comes with luxuries like fabric door inserts, a 2-DIN audio system with USB, Aux-in, bluetooth connectivity and four speakers, a keyless entry system, steering mounted audio controls, tilt steering and a driver side airbag, although the brochure shows two inflated balloons in the picture.
The Petrol Celerio is powered by a 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder motor that develops 68 PS and 90 Nm of torque, mated to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT system. Also available in a CNG powered variant, a diesel Celerio powered by the smallest and the most frugal 800 cc oil-burner in the Indian car market will soon be introduced in the coming weeks.

Does this celerio zxi AMT have both driver side as well as passenger side airbag? or only driver side airbag?
I dont understand why companies leave out the passenger side airbag when they can fit a driver side one?
