The Mahindra TUV300 has been on a roll since its launch, overtaking the sales of the Ford EcoSport for two months in a row and raising Mahindra’s sales by 20% year-on-year (Y-o-Y) as of October 2015. Latest reports suggest that the Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) variant contributes more than 50% of the total TUV300 sales.

Pawan Goenka, Executive director, Mahindra & Mahindra said that the production of the TUV300 AMT version is limited and that’s the reason there is a gap between the demand and supply of the TUV300. He also went on to say that they have reached a production of 500 units a month and plan to keep it up that way. The production would be further increased in the future once the vehicle starts getting exported.
The TUV300 AMT is available in the T6+ and T8+ variants that are priced at Rs. 8.52 lakhs and 9.12 lakhs respectively. It is powered by a 1.5 litre, three cylinder, M-Hawk turbocharged diesel engine releasing a power output of 84 hp and 230 Nm of torque.
