Mahindra Sets up Another Off-Road Academy, to Offer Two Courses in Mangalore

When you think off-roading, the Mahindra Thar could be the first Indian SUV that pops in your mind. Mahindra offers you a chance to take that very SUV and learn everything there is to off-roading. Welcome to the world of Mahindra’s off-road training academy. Started first in their state of the art facility in Igatpuri in 2013, this facility aims to offer off-road enthusiasts a chance to learn and improve on their skills to become a better driver when the roads end. Having trained more than 1000 people, this academy has started branching out to other parts of the country, the latest addition is a new facility in the city of Mangalore.

The Mangalore facility will offer 2 courses for the people, a basic level course called Getting Dirty and an intermediate course called Trail Survivor. The advanced level course is still only offered at the main training centre in Igatpuri. Moreover, Mahindra will also be able to set-up custom-made courses for corporate events. The basic course begins on Saturday morning and ends by lunchtime. The course allows participants to enjoy a 4×4 in a controlled environment. The intermediate course takes more time, it begins post lunch on Saturday and concludes on Sunday. It involves technical theory and has more difficult obstacles. Night off-roading is another challenge this course would offer.
