Mahindra Scorpio N Bookings To Commence From Tomorrow

Bookings for the highly-awaited Mahindra Scorpio N are all set to commence from tomorrow, July 30. The SUV can be booked for a token amount of ₹21000. Launched in June, the new Scorpio N is priced between ₹11.99 lakh and ₹23.9 lakh. Going by the popularity of the SUV, we expect it to get sold out pretty soon considering that Mahindra will be producing it in limited numbers for the year 2022.

The bookings will be done on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis. Customers will have an option of editing their choice of variant booked on July 30 till 15th August midnight. Mahindra has only planned to produce 20000 units of the Scorpio N till December 2022. Based on customer inquiry trends, the production of Z8L variants has been prioritized to match customer expectations at the time of delivery. Deliveries for the Scorpio N will begin on the 26th of September. The launch price will be applicable only for the first 25000 bookings.

The Scorpio-N automatic comes in Z4, Z8, and Z8L variants for petrol whereas the diesel automatic is available in Z4, Z6, Z8, and Z8 L variants. The petrol engine is a turbocharged 2.0-liter Mstallion unit with 200 hp and 380 Nm of torque. The diesel engine is a 2.2-liter Mhawk unit that is available in two states of tune. The base Z2 gets 132 hp and 300 Nm of torque whereas the higher variants deliver 175 hp and 400 nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Scorpio also offers 4×4 as an option which comes with Mahindra’s 4xplor system which comes with Terrain modes. The design of the Scorpio-N is unmistakable Scorpio with a ton of modern bits thrown in. The front gets an upright and imposing face. The headlamps get dual LED projector units and dynamic turn indicators. The new Mahindra SUV logo can be seen sitting proudly in the six-slat grille.

The lower half of the bumper gets a silver skid plate and the fog lamps are surrounded by C-shaped LED DRLs.  The Scorpio N comes loaded with features such as front and rear cameras with sensors, 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, selectable drive modes, cruise control, wireless smartphone charging, keyless entry with push-button start/stop, 70+ connected car features, an electric sunroof, and wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay.
