With Mahindra revealing the prices of all the variants in the Scorpio N range, it’s time to pit it against its similarly priced rivals. The Scorpio N goes up against a lot of 7-seaters that are similarly priced. Interestingly, the Scorpio N is the only body-on-frame SUV in the comparison. The Scorpio N is the cheapest of the lot when it comes the entry-level variants pricing. It is closely followed by the Hyundai Alcazar when it comes to the top-end variants. However, it also loses out on a few features when compared to the other cars like ventilated seats, ADAS, digital instrument cluster etc. The Scorpio and XUV700 are the only cars to offer AWD and are pretty closely matched in terms of pricing.

In terms of dimensions, it is a mixed bag. The XUV700 is the longest in the class but its the Scorpio N which is the wides and tallest. The Hyundai Alcazar on the other hand has the longest wheelbase. However, it is closely followed by the Scorpio N, XUV700 and Hector Plus which have a wheelbase of 2750mm.

The Mahindra XUV700 and Scorpio N offer the most powerful powertrains in the class. Both the cars share the same powertrain with the XUV700 being slightly more powerful in the diesel guise. These two are closely followed by the Hector Plus and the Safari. The Alcazar is the least powerful of the lot but also the most fuel efficient.

The Alcazar offers a 10.25 inch touchscreen and a 10.25 inch digital instrument cluster.
