Mahindra revealed the 125cc variant of its scooter, the Gusto, in January 2016. The scooter, however, wasn’t yet on sale, till now. Mahindra will be launching the Gusto 125 in a phased manner and the scooter is currently available in the states of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The official website also states that the Gusto 125 be launched shortly across other states. In the states of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, the new Gusto 125 has been priced at:
- Mahindra Gusto 125 VX: Rs. 53,680*
- Mahindra Gusto 125 DX: Rs. 50,680*
- Mahindra Gusto 125 VX: Rs. 54,920*
- Mahindra Gusto 125 DX: Rs. 50,920*

The Gusto 125 is powered by a 125cc single cylinder engine that Mahindra has christened the M-TEC. Power output stands at 8.5 hp @ 7000 rpm while the peak torque is rated at 10Nm @ 5500 rpm. The Gusto 125 comes with an updated bodywork, new graphics and a re-bored M-Tec engine that now has 15 more cc’s that results in a 0.5 hp and 1 Nm of performance bump over the Gusto 110.
