New-Mercedes-C63-AMG

Thanks to a new report emerging on the web world earlier today, we have got to know a set of fresh details of the upcoming new Mercedes Benz C63 AMG.

The new Mercedes Benz C63 AMG will make its public debut late next year and powering the hi-performance variant of the new gen C Class will be a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine.

As per the good chaps at British publication Autocar, the new Mercedes C63 AMG will be launched towards the end of next year and will be powered by a new V8 motor that will displace 4.0 litres and will be forced fed by a twin-turbo setup.

It is expected that the new engine would have a max power output of at least 470 bhp and the motor would come mated to the highly successful Mercedes 7G-MCT SpeedShift automatic transmission. It is being said that this engine would also power many other Mercedes AMG cars of the future.

Other than the AMG model, the new C Class will also get the new C300 Plug-In Hybrid model in 2015. The C300 Plug-In hybrid will be powered by a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged direct-injection gasoline engine that will be paired with an electric motor. The gasoline engine will have a max power of 249 bhp (185 kW), while the electric motor will bring in an additional 67 bhp (50 kW).
