Kolkata: India’s first lady Lamborghini owner receives country’s first golden coloured Huracan

UPDATE: We just learnt that this Huracan is not the first of its kind in the world. Nonetheless it is really exclusive and definitely the first of its kind in India.

A couple of weeks back, we had brought to you a list of the one-off exotic cars that call India their home. Now, new images surfaced on the web reveal that another such example has arrived in India; Kolkata to be specific – a very special Lamborghini Huracan in a shade of gold, or “Oro Elios” in Lamborghini speak.

What makes this super-car unique is the fact that this is one of the few Lamborghini Huracans in the world to feature this shade, making it a really, really exclusive piece of kit. Another unique fact is that this is also the first Lamborghini in the country to be owned by a lady. The Oro Elios coloured Huracan, which now calls Kolkata its home, replaces another special edition from Lamborghini in the lady’s garage, namely the Verde Ithaca (read green) Gallardo India Serie Speciale; one of six in the world.

Powering the Huracan is the a screaming, 5.2-litre, naturally aspirated V10 engine. This engine produces a power output of 610 hp at 8250 rpm while the peak torque of 560 Nm comes up at 6500 rpm. The Huracan can sprint from naught to 100 km/ph in a matter of 3.2 seconds while the top speed goes upwards of 325 km/ph. The Huracan comes to India with a price tag of Rs. 3.43 crore (Ex-showroom).
