A very special  bull, one of merely 500 in existence, has landed in India, all the way from Sant’agata Bolognese, Italy. This special breed from the house of Italian luxury automobile manufacturer Lamborghini is none other than the Aventador SV Roadster, and one just got delivered in Bengaluru, finished in gorgeous Rosso Bia.

For those who think that India already has one of these, let us make it clear that the model you might be thinking of would be the Aventador SV (Super Veloce) Coupe, not the Aventador SV roadster. While the former made its way to Bhubaneswar, Odisha (Orissa) and shares the garage with an Audi R8 and a Lamborghini Huracan, the latter has reached its abode in Bengaluru.

The Aventador SV roadster is propelled by the same engine featured in the Aventador SV. The 6.5 litre V12 engine produces a massive 740 hp, while the peak torque stands at 690 Nm. This engine sends power to the wheels with the help of a 7 speed ISR automatic transmission. Naught to 100 takes the Aventador SV roadster 2.9 seconds, a fraction of a second more than the Aventador SV. 0-200 comes up in 8.8 seconds while the top speed is limited to 350 km/ph.

Weighing 50 kgs more than the Aventador SV, the SV roadster claims to have a dry weight of 1575 kg. Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres on all four sides are what the wheels of the Aventador SV roadster wrapped in. This unit is a part of the limited edition run of 500 units of the Aventador SV and is likely to be the only one to grace the Indian soil. This Aventador SV roadster was imported to India with a price tag of £350,000 (INR 3.3 crores) – add all the taxes and import duties laid down by the government and you get a final ex-showroom price of approximately Rs. 10 crores.

Might we add that this Aventador SV roadster will share garage space with other super-cars/SUVs like a Lamborghini Huracan, a Range Rover Sport SVR, along with a handful of Porsche 911s like a 991 Turbo S, a 991 GT3, and a 997 Turbo.
