Now, it has emerged that the Hyundai Xcent bookings in India currently stand at over 11,000, garnered over a short period of just 30 days! Post the launch of Xcent in the Indian market, Hyundai has experienced over 100,000 enquiries at dealerships across all regions and most dealerships are recording multiple enquires and test drive requests. Xcent has generated high interest level amidst the young families in metros as well as Tier II cities.

The new Xcent is being sold with a frugal U2 CRDi diesel engine that has a fuel efficiency of 24.4 kmpl (ARAI). The U2 engine offers decent performance in both city and highway driving conditions. Also available is the tried and tested all-aluminum 1.2 litre Kappa petrol engine that comes with Dual VTVT mechanism. This engine has a fuel efficiency of 19.1 kmpl (ARAI figure).
