Hyundai recently released a couple of the sketches of its eagerly anticipated Creta compact SUV. The Korean carmaker has since launched the website of their upcoming car, which is slated for launch on 21 July 2015. The website also displays a ‘Showroom’ section where the Creta can be viewed and is displayed as ‘Upcoming’.
Prospective buyers of the Hyundai Creta can also fill-in their details. They will then be kept in the loop with all the relevant updates. The Creta’s design is the result of Hyundai’s new Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design philosophy. The front fascia features a singular hexagonal radiator grille that gets three horizontal slats. The headlight cluster gets a projector setup and the sketches reveal the Creta will get body cladding and faux skid plates.
Power for the Hyundai Creta compact SUV is likely to be provided by a 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engine. That said, lower variants could come with a 1.4-litre diesel unit. The compact SUV will get a manual and automatic transmission, depending upon the variant. Hyundai is likely to launch the Creta in India on 21 July 2015.
