Honda CBR250RR performance numbers revealed

Honda unveiled its new quarter-litre, the CBR250RR, back in July 2016. Back then, Honda revealed various details about the motorcycle but remained tight lipped about the performance numbers. While there is still no official statement on that front, motoring Morebikes have got its hands on certain documents which reveal the performance number of the upcoming quarter-litre.

According to the documents, the 249.7cc 4-stroke parallel-twin liquid cooled engine delivers 36.8 PS of power at 12,500 rpm and 22.5 Nm of peak torque at 10,500 rpm which is almost similar to its rival, the Yamaha YZF-R25. The claimed top speed, as reported, sits at 105 mph or 169 kph.

The Honda CBR250RR has been creating buzz in the two-wheeler space since its debut as a concept at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. The motorcycle comes equipped with premium features such as upside down telescopic fork upfront and Pro-link suspension featuring 5-step preload for the rear. The motorcycle also features ride-by-wire technology along with selectable 3-way engine mode settings. Braking duties are performed by 310mm disc upfront and 240mm disc at the rear while ABS will be offered as an optional feature.
