The much awaited compact Honda Brio has finally been launched not here in India but in Thailand where it is manufactured. The Brio comes packed with the same Jazz engine which the 1.2 lit 4 cylinders SOHC is churning out 90bhp @ 6000rpm and around 110Nm of torque. The features the Thailand Brio flaunts are:
– ABS EBD
– EPS
– Dual airbags
– LED brake lamps
– Fog lights
– Adjustable steering wheel column
– Double din music system with USB and Aux but no CD player
– Security alarm
– Engine mobilizer
– CVT as well as a 5 speed manual transmission
Even though the Brio is smaller to Jazz, it has smart interior space distribution. Expected to make its Indian entry in September 2011 it’s still a long wait for us. Pricing expected to be around 4.3 to 4.5 lakh rupees which will be perfect to stay in competition. What do you guys think, does the Brio have to shake up the established players here in India?
