Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India, the Indian subsidiary of the Japanese bike maker, registered its highest ever sales of 259,560 units in April 2013, thus recording an Year-on-Year sales growth of 31% . Out of the total sales, motorcycles accounted for 123,240 units. Honda motorcycles registered an year-on-year growth rate of 51%. HMSI also sold 136,320 units of scooters, thus recording and year-on-year sales growth rate of 16%. HMSI’s domestic market share stood at 21% in April’13.
