The Hero Passion PRO now has a new colour.
The Hero Passion PRO has been given some dose of freshness by the company. The first thing you will notice is the new Brown colour scheme, but the body graphics remain largely unchanged. The second thing to grab your attention will be the new design of the alloy wheels, which now sport six spokes, instead of the usual five. The most important upgrade for the Passion PRO has taken place in the engine, which now makes a little bit more power.
The older bike has 5-spokes in its alloys.
The engine of the new Hero Passion PRO is the same 97.2 cc air-cooled, single-cylinder 4-stroke unit. This engine now makes 8.2 bhp at 8000 rpm, 0.4 bhp more than the outgoing model. Peak torque has gone up ever so slightly, from 8.04 Nm to 8.05 Nm delivered at 5000 rpm. This is the exact same unit found in the Hero Splendor Pro Classic. You also get a 240mm disc brake at the front, similar to that found in the Passion PRO TR. Everything else remains the same as that on the outgoing Passion. The price for this ‘passionate’ bundle of joy is Rs. 54,943 (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and that’s for the top-end model shown in the picture.
