New Hero Passion Pro TR launched

If you have ever taken a pointless stroll on the beach or anywhere else,  you sometimes stumble upon an object, which makes you think about the purpose of it’s existence. Something similar happened, as we were browsing through Hero’s website, we came across a new product in their portfolio, the New Hero Passion Pro TR. It has features and styling, which will make you miss the Impulse and start questioning Hero’s decision to take it off the production line, only to return with an On/Off-road product that could seriously finish the Dakar in a tankful, time be damned.

So this tougher version of a bike, men are passionate about  for it’s fuel economy, gets off-roading tyres, knuckle guards, metal wire headlamp protectors and a front fender that sits higher up. It also features a bash plate to shield the engine, a crossbar on the handlebar and knee-pads on the fuel tank for better grip.

Power comes via an Air-cooled, four-stroke, single cylinder, 97.2 cc engine, which makes 7.7 bhp at 7500 rpm and 8.04 Nm of torque at 4500 rpm. To control all this serious power on loose gravel, it also features a 240 mm disc brake unit at the front. Tyre size is 3.00 x 18 at the rear and 2.75 x 18 up front. Fuel tank capacity is 12.8 litres, 1.8 litres more than the normal Passion. Hero’s brochure shows a young man posing with a yellow back-pack besides the bike. Not sure if he has been asked to leave home or is he leaving home to visit some place.
