The arrival of Goods and Services Tax or GST has resulted in price correction of various two- and four-wheelers. We’ve already seen automobile manufacturers revise their product prices. The latest car company to pass on the benefits of the GST to its customers is Tata Motors.

Commenting on the price reduction, Mayank Pareek, President, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors, said that the Company welcomes the initiative by the Union Government for introducing GST thereby bringing in one uniform tax across the country. He further added that this will enhance the ease of doing business and usher in a new era for the economy in general and especially, for the automotive industry.

Following the roll out of GST, Tata Motors has decided to pass on the entire benefit to its customers. The car makeris offering a price reduction of upto 12%, ranging between INR 3,300 and INR 217,000 depending on the model and variant.
