Volkswagen Group’s design house Italdesign Giugiaro has unveiled the new Giugiaro Clipper at the ongoing Geneva Motor Show 2014.

The new Giugiaro Clipper boasts of six seats and an all-wheel drive system and the new car is underpinned by Volkswagen’s MQB platform. The car runs solely on electric power and has a range of up to 335 miles. Powering the vehicle are two 148bhp electric motors that bestow the car with a 127mph top speed. While one of these motors is mounted at the front, the other is positioned at the rear.
The third row of seats can be folded down for a boot space of 900 litres.
The four doors of the Clipper open upwards and the absence of a pillar between the front and rear doors provide easy ingress and egress. All six occupants can get in the car at the same time!
