Today, Ford launched the limited edition, Aspire Blu, which will feature a dual-tone roof, sporty decals, fully black grille and alloys, along with a blue themed interior. This new limited edition Aspire Blu is available in both, petrol and diesel variants, only with a manual transmission option. The Aspire Blu would be available in 3 shades: White, Moondust Silver and Smoke. The petrol variant of the Aspire Blu edition is priced at INR 7,50,900, while the diesel variant is priced at INR 8,30,900 (ex-showroom, India)
The Aspire compact-sedan is styled and named Blu, to match up to the expectations of Cricket fans, as the Cricket World Cup is coming up soon. The Aspire Blu will continue delivering the best value with a segment-first 5-Year / 100,000 KM warranty, along with the lowest maintenance costs. The Ford Aspire Blu is also equipped with standard features like dual airbags and a 7-inch touchscreen system with built-in navigation.
In terms of power and performance, the Aspire gets the same light and fuel efficient three-cylinder, 1.2L petrol engine, which produces 96 PS of peak power and 120 Nm of torque while delivering a fuel efficiency of 20.4 km/l. The diesel variant gets the 1.5L engine which delivers 100 PS of peak power and 215 Nm of torque and a fuel economy of 26.1 km/l.
The cabin of the new Ford Aspire Blu features a new stylish blue-themed interior, which includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel, along with a few convenient features such as push-button start/stop, rear parking sensors, USB slots and many more. In terms of safety, the Aspire Blu is well-equipped with all the necessary features such as an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), dual-front airbags, a rear-view camera, remote central locking, an automatic air-conditioner and power windows among others.
