The much talked about Ford EcoSport, which has become the new hot favorite among the compact crossover buyers in India, was yesterday launched in the neighboring country of Nepal. Nepal launch of Ford EcoSport doesn’t come across as a surprise because it was always known that Ford would launch the new car in Nepal soon after its Indian car market debut.
The official distributor for Ford in Nepal is GO Ford and the EcoSport will be sold in Nepal with all the engine options that are available in India. Also, the EcoSport will be available in Nepal with all seven olor options that are available in India. These include- Mars Red, Diamond White, Kinetic Blue, Moondust Silver, Chill Metallic, Panther Black and Sea Grey.
The Ford EcoSport will be imported into Nepal via CBU route from India and will hence, be entitled to almost 200% customs duty!
This means that the car will be exorbitantly priced in Nepal. Following is the Ford EcoSport Nepal price list-
