The first-ever Renault Clio RS Monaco GP image recently hit the web world, ahead of the car’s debut at the fast approaching  Geneva Motor Show next month.

While it was being said that the Renault Clio RS for the famous Swiss motor show would be a sizzling hot Gordini version, it has turned out that the famous European would rather bring a Monaco GP edition, of course with some visual tweaks. As this Renault Clio RS Monaco GP image reveals, the vehicle will come draped in a shade of White Frost Pearl exterior paint, with contrast glossy paint on front grille, mirror housings, window surrounds and lower front bumper. The car will ride on a set of new design 18 inch five spoke alloy wheels. New Renault Clio RS Monaco GP interior images aren’t available yet but it is being said that the car would get a white trim on the dashboard and door panels, along with a RS Monitor that allows the car’s driver to store performance data such as his lap times.

The new Clio RS Monaco Edition doesn’t sport any engine updates and is powered by the same 1.6-liter, four cylinder, turbocharged petrol motor that has a max power of 200 HP and peak torque of 234 Nm. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via dual-clutch six-speed automatic gearbox. If company claims are to be believed, the car is capable of hitting 100kmph from standstill in a quck 6.7 seconds and has a top whack of 230 kmph.

As we said earlier, the new special edition of the Clio will make its debut at the 84th Geneva Motor Show next month.
