We reported in detail when Fiat India opened up its first exclusive dealership in the country. The Indian subsidiary of Italian car maker giant has launched many new exclusive dealerships since then and the decision to move out of Tata dealerships should help Fiat India with having a better show on the sales charts.
As a part of Fiat’s plan to open a new dealership in most big cities of the country, the car marker inaugurated a new dealership in Delhi last week.
The new Fiat India dealership, Kashyap Fiat, is located at 212, Okhla Industrial Estate, Phase – III, New Delhi and has a display area of 5,000 sq ft, enough to display 5 cars. The showroom also has a state of art workshop that covers 11,000 sq ft.
The new Fiat India dealership was inaugurated by Nagesh Basavanhalli, President and Managing Director, Fiat Chrysler India Operations.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Nagesh Basavanahalli said: “FIAT India views Delhi as a very strategic market and the inauguration of an exclusive dealership is in accordance with our strategy to capitalise on this potential. We are confident that our association with Kashyap FIAT will play a crucial role in identifying the customer base and enhancing customer experience in Delhi. With Kashyap FIAT, we are associated with a partner who has over 25 years of experience and market knowledge of the automobile trade”
Fiat India will be seen inaugurating many new exclusive dealerships in near future. It may be noted that it is being said that the sales team at Tata dealerships, the sellers of Fiat India cars until recently, used to bestow a stop motherly treatment to Fiat India cars and this made situation even worse for Fiat India, which already wasn’t enjoying class leading sales.
