What we have here are the official images of the Fiat 500L. The 500L is basically a larger 500 and is based on the Punto platform. The BMW-Mini rival is a genuine 5 seater and seems to be bigger than the Mini Contryman.
Powering the new Fiat 500L is a 1.4 litre, 160 Bhp turbocharged petrol motor that features the much publicized MultiAir variable valve technology. The engine is mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox. Fiat will also offer the option of a 6 speed dual clutch automatic transmission.
Fiat has also launched a ‘Trekker’ variant of the 500L. The Fiat 500L Trekker comes with bigger 17 inch wheels and a sporty body kit.
