Ferrari Roma Launched At ₹3.76 crore!

 

The Ferrari Roma has revealed globally back in 2019 and it has now been launched at ₹3.76 crores in India. This Italian beauty is the newest to come out of Maranello and it sure looks the part. The Roma is a 2+2 sportscar which follows the new design language of the Italian marque. The Roma follows a clean design without any intrusion from the from aerodynamic details or large wings. The Roma gets a long bonnet and a short, stubby boot which gives it a characteristic of a GT car. Ferrari claims that the Roma has taken inspiration from the older Ferraris such as the 250 GT Lusso and the GTE 2+2.

The Roma uses adaptive LED headlamps with integrated DRLs which mimics the newer Ferraris. The rear gets quad exhaust tips and four LED taillamps. It also gets an electronic spoiler which is integrated into the boot which features three modes namely Low Drag, Medium Downforce and High Downforce. The interiors are completely new and the Roma is one of the first cars from Ferrari to use the new interior design language. The dashboard is dominated by an 8.4 inch tablet style touchscreen in the centre. The passenger also gets a separate display which shows information such as speed, RPM etc. The instrument cluster is a 16 inch display which is curved. The new steering wheel gets capacitive buttons for the functions. Though the Roma is claimed to be a 2+2, the rear seats are best left unused.

The engine is a 3.9 litre twin-turbo V8 which is shared with a lot of other siblings. The engine churns out 620hp at 7,500rpm and 760nm of torque. The Roma is front engined and gets a rear wheel drive setup. The engine is mated to a new 8 speed dual-clutch gearbox which is also found in the SF90 Stradale. This gearbox is more compact and 6kgs lighter than its 7 speed predecessor. The Roma can o 0-100km/h in just 3.4 seconds and go on to a top speed of 320km/h. The Roma can do 0-200km/h in 9.3 seconds. Though the Roma has been officially launched now, customers have already started taking deliveries.
