Ferrari F150: More Details Revealed

We have been closely following the development of Ferrari F150- Ferrari Enzo successor. We recently posted the teaser pics of the upcoming car and now, the Itailan supercar maker has revealed more details of the F150.

It was being said that the F150 would be powered by a 7.3 litre V12 engine. However, Ferrari has now said that the F150 will be powered by a more powerful version of the 6.3 litre V12 motor that powers the F12 Berlinetta. In the F12, this engine produces a power output of 730bhp and safely expect the power figure to go up in the F150. The engine will be mated to a Formula1 derived HY-KERS unit.

Apart from making the car quicker, the HY-KERS system also enhances the torque vectoring, traction control and break force distribution.

The Ferrari F150 will get a hand laminated chassis made up of four different types of carbon fibre. This will make the F150 27% more rigid and 22% stiffer than the Enzo.

The Ferrari F150 is expected to make its debut at Geneva Motor Show in March 2013.
