As Benelli looks to expand its Indian portfolio with the launch of the new Tornado 302R next Tuesday, the company’s Indian partner, DSK Motowheels is also making an effort to increase its nation-wide presence. The company launched a new dealership in Mysore on Thursday, taking its total tally up to 26 showrooms across the country.
The new showroom is located on the up-market Hinkal region on the main Mysore-Hunsur road. Shubha Motors will be home to the entire Benelli range on sale in India. Presently, it includes the twin-cylinder naked street bikes – the TNT25 and TNT300 as well as the in-line four TNT 600i and its sports touring derivative, the 600GT. This will be joined by the fully-faired TNT300 based sportsbike, the Tornado 302R next week.

Talking to the media on the launch, Mr. Krishna Malge, Vice-President of Sales and Dealer Development at Benelli assured customers of high-class service at the dealership. “The employees at DSK Benelli – Mysore have been provided with specialised training in management of sales, service, spare parts and customer service, to ensure that customers can enjoy best-in-class ownership experience,” he said.
At present, DSK has the single largest international-grade dealership setup for any performance bike company in India. Mr. Malge added, “Keeping in mind the global standards, we are also glad to announce that all the DSK Benelli showrooms across India meet the International CI standards of Benelli global showrooms. Our main focus is to align DSK Benelli’s presence across all strategic locations in order to generate strong brand eminence.”

The Pesaro, Italy based Benelli Motors is one of the oldest biking monikers still on sale in the world. The company, which was founded by six brothers in 1911, is now owned by the Chinese Qianjiang conglomerate. In India, DSK Motowheels is responsible for assembly, sales and service of the Benelli range. DSK also offers 24×7 pan-India on-call breakdown service along with a wide variety of aftermarket accessories.
