After launching the myChevrolet India app recently, Chevrolet India has announced the introduction of a 24×7 roadside assistance program for its customers. The program will kickstart from January 2014 and will be available to all new Chevrolet car owners. With the myChevrolet India app and this roadside assistance program, Chevrolet is pulling up its sleeves in order to serve their customers in a better way.
Under the roadside assistance program, Chevrolet India will provide support to the customer in the event of vehicle immobilization due to mechanical or electrical breakdown, road accident, battery drainage, fuel scarcity, tyre problems and locked/lost key amongst other on-road events. The Chevrolet customer will have to dial 1800-103-8090 (toll-free) or 0124-4388090 for help.
“Customer is the most important facet of our business. With the launch of the roadside assistance program, we are taking the ownership experience a step further by ensuring complete peace of mind and comfort. The initiative includes special care for our customers in the event of vehicle immobilization such as free taxi provision and towing facility anywhere in India,” said P Balendran, Vice President, General Motors India.
Cars purchased after 1 January 2014 will include the cost for this program, and existing Chevrolet customers can avail the program by paying Rs 1,000 for one year and Rs 2,700 for three years.
