The upcoming Hyundai Grand i10 facelift has been doing pre-launch test runs on Indian soil and was recently spotted on the Bangalore-Chennai Highway. But the details aren’t so secret anymore as Hyundai has already revealed the new i10 (sold as the Grand i10 in India) before its public debut at the Paris Motor Show. In latest news, the folks at Indian Autos Blog have released a artistic render of the 2017 Hyundai Xcent which is heavily based on the images of the recently revealed i10.

The Xcent is essentially the compact, sub 4-meter sedan version of the Grand i10 hatchback. So apart from the extended boot space, the 2017 Xcent will carry the same design as the upcoming Grand i10.

Visually, from what we saw from the European model, the Grand i10 facelift will get Hyundai’s ‘Cascading front grille’ with new round LED daytime running lights, a new front bumper design, an updated rear bumper with a new black inlay and a round rear fog lamp. The new Grand i10 will also feature a redesigned side moulding with a new shape and size. The Grand i10 facelift also features a new set of 14-inch alloy wheels. The compact sedan will also receive refreshed interiors and we may see a new seven-inch touch screen navigation system offering Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.

The India spec model is expected to carry the existing 1.2-litre petrol and 1.1-litre diesel engines. The new 2017 Xcent is expected to arrive sometime in mid-2017.
