Nissan has finally released the brochure details of the upcoming Duster-based Terrano crossover.
The Nissan Terrano, very much like the Duster, will go on sale with two diesel and one petrol engine option. The diesel variants of Terrano get the 1.5-liter oil burner in two states of tune- 85PS and 110PS. The petrol motor displaces 1.6 litres and has a max power of 104 PS.
The car will go on sale in three trim levels- XE, XL and XV.
- The XE, which is the entry level variant, will be powered by the 85PS oil burner and will come equipped with a driver side airbag, front and rear power windows and a multi-information display.

Save for the entirely new front fascia and the revised rear end, the car remains largely similar to the Duster. While the front end gets a new grille, bumper, headlights and a slightly revised hood, the rear comes with a a new tailgate, a revised rear bumper and a new set of tail lamps that extend all the way into the tailgate.
On the inside, the interior panels get different faux wood inserts, a set of rectangular air vents at the centre of dashboard, a revised instrument binnacle and a new ‘Nissan-ised’ steering wheel. The car also seems to have got a different audio system interface.
The Terrano will be sold with 6 color options- Pearl White, Blade Silver, Saphire Black, Sterling Grey, Bronze Grey and Fire Red.
The pre-bookings for Terrano are underway since Sept 1 and while the prices aren’t out yet, Nissan India has announced that the Terrano will have a sub-INR 10 lakhs price tag.
