Bmw X4 ’50 Jahre M Edition’ Launched At ₹72.90 Lakh

BMW has launched the X4 ’50 Jahre M Edition’ at ₹72.90 lakh for the 30i Petrol and ₹74.90 lakh for the 30d Diesel. This exclusive version of the X4 will celebrate 50 years of BMW M GmbH and will be locally produced at the BMW Group Plant in Chennai. It will be available in limited numbers and can be booked exclusively online. This launch is a part of the 10 launches planned by BMW as a part of their celebrations of their motorsport division.

The mesh kidney grille has all-black mesh-inserts and frame finished in ‘M High Gloss Shadow line’. It gets new M badging all around and ’50 years of M door projector’. Adaptive LED Headlamps are now 10mm slimmer and flatter, creating a more focused face. They are designed in M Shadow line with black accents and have Matrix function as standard. It also gets M Aerodynamic package which features components in body color in front / rear apron and side sill covers. The side profile features M High Gloss Shadow line. Another addition is the 20″ 699 M Jet Black alloys with M Sport Brake Callipers in Red High Gloss. Customers can also add the optional M Accessories Package. The interior gets Vernasca upholstery with black contrast stitching for the sport seats, and an Aluminium Rhombicle dark interior colour scheme with Pearl Chrome highlights.

Other than this, it remains the same as the standard X4. In terms of features, it comes with a multi-function steering wheel, electric seats with memory function, welcome light carpet, head-up display, ambient lighting with six dimmable designs, 3-zone climate control, auto wipers, 360-degree camera, auto-dimming IRVM, and auto wipers. It gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen display which gets wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay connectivity. The petrol engine is a 2-liter turbocharged unit engine that pumps out 258bhp of max power and 350Nm of peak torque. It also gets a 3.0L inline-six diesel engine that produces 265bhp of max power and a crazy 620Nm of peak torque. All engines come mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Power is sent to all wheels thanks to BMW’s XDrive system.
