New BMW X teaser

BMW X2 Teased Ahead Of Its Debut Next Month

German luxury automobile manufacturer BMW has teased the upcoming all new X2 through a set of official teaser images. The Bavarian car maker has teased the X2 crossover ahead of its debut that is slated to take place next month at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The X2, BMW’s latest Sports Activity Coupe, as the company calls it, has been teased in a unique camouflage that features yellow, grey and black highlights. The upcoming model was shot while on an exploration trip in the urban jungle, the place where BMW feels most X2 owners are likely to reside.

BMW says that the design is based on a digital pattern that expresses the innovative spirit and future orientation of the BMW Group. Speaking of design, the X2 seen in the images here does reveal a few design cues although it is neatly wrapped in camouflage. The model will feature a kidney grille where the bottom will be longer than the top of the grille. A few other design cues that can be noticed from the teaser images include a sloping roofline and an aggressive front and rear fascia.

BMW has not revealed any details regarding the engine specifications although the model is said to share a good amount of hardware from its sibling, the X1. This could be a hint that the model will be offered as a front wheel drive as standard while BMW’s xDrive all wheel drive could be available as an option.
