Blacked out Hyundai i20 with red accents steals the show at the 2016 GIIAS

Korean automobile manufacturer Hyundai has showcased the i20 at the 2016 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), marking  the debut of the premium hatchback in the region. The made in India i20 is imported into Indonesia via the CBU route. The show car receives a few sporty features to add to the aesthetic appeal of the vehicle.

Featuring a shade of gloss black, this Indonesia spec Hyundai i20 show car comes equipped with cosmetic upgrades such blacked out alloy wheels, a body kit with red accents, fog lamps with integrated LED DRLs on either side and a spoiler at the rear.

Coming to the interiors, the model receives an all black theme thus complimenting the exterior paintjob and a touchscreen infotainment system. Other features on the model include ABS with EBD, electrically adjustable ORVMs, automatic climate control and rear AC vents.

Propelling the model is a 1.4 litre Kappa petrol engine tuned to produce 100 PS and 133 Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to a six speed manual transmission as standard while a four speed automatic transmission is also available as an optional feature. Hyundai Indonesia has begun accepting orders for the i20 even as the prices are yet to be revealed. The Indonesian spec i20 will take on the likes of the Suzuki Baleno, Honda Jazz and the Toyota Yaris in the Indonesian market.
