It has emerged that British premium car maker Bentley is all set to produce a batch of fifteen limited edition units of the Mulsanne, the first flagship car to be independently designed by Bentley Motors in nearly 80 years. The new Bentley Mulsanne 95 Limited Edition model will commemorate the car maker’s 95th anniversary and will be sold in UK market only. The new Bentley Mulsanne 95 limited edition model will be sold in as many as three colour options, along with boasting of a bespoke black finish on the car marque’s flying B mascot. The same finish will also be seen on the Mulsanne’s 21 inch alloy wheels.
Updates on the inside include addition of illuminated treadplates, along with 95 logo embroidered onto the front and rear seats. Also, the wood trim on the regular Mulsanne has been ditched in favor of wood taken from a 400-year old walnut tree from Lincolnshire. Other than all this, the car’s blue and white leather trim boasts of red contrasting stitching.
Powering the new Bentley Mulsanne 95 Limited Edition will be the same 6.75-litre V8 engine that powers the regular model. This motor pumps out a healthy 505bhp of max power and 104kgm of peak torque. The Bentley Mulsanne can dismiss 100kmph from standstill in just 5.3 seconds and go on to hit a top whack of 296 kmph!
