Renowned premium car maker Bentley made a lot of news when it showcased their first ever SUV at the Geneva Motor Show last year. Dubbed as the EXP 9F, the concept model is still far from reaching the production stage. Bentley hasn’t yet revealed its plans for the EXP-9F and speculations have been abounding that the car would never make it to production.

However, Bentley recently made public that it has already received 2000 bookings for the SUV!

It is being said that the Bentley EXP-9F, if and when it reaches production stage, would be built at Bratislava. However, the interiors of the car will be made at the carmaker’s Crewe plant. Official details on Bentley SUV are scarce but it is being said that the manufacturer might answer all questions in few weeks of time.

Powering the production spec Bentley EXP 9F might be Bentley’s 6.0 litre, twin-turbo W12 petrol engine mated to an 8-speed transmission. Bentley might also decide to plonk in the recently-launched 4.0 litre, twin-turbocharged V8 or a hybrid drivetrain. The Bentley W12 6.0 litre engine has 600bhp of max power and 800 Nm of peak torque.
