DSK-Benelli India launched five products for the Indian market and plans to extend its portfolio to eight motorcycles by the end of this year. The three motorcycle to reach Indian two-wheeler market are the TNT25, TreK Amazonas 1130 and the Keeway Blackster 250. Although Benelli officials did not confirm any launch date, they did say they would try to introduce these three new models by the festive season or the year end but everything depends on homologation process.

Keeway is a sister brand of Benelli Motorcycles. The Keeway Blackster 250 receives a 249cc, V-Twin cylinder, fuel injected air-cooled engine which delivers 19.18PS of power at 8500 RPM and 18.7 Nm of torque at 5750 RPM. The motor comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle comes painted in matte black colour with loads of chrome treated parts like the handlebar, front suspension and exhaust pipes to name a few. The Keeway Blackster 250, like other motorcycles from DSK-Benelli, would come via the CKD route and this will help the manufacturer price the product very competitively.
