Last year, Bajaj Auto refreshed the only cruiser in the line-up, the Avenger. Formerly available only in a 220cc trim, the company extended the Avenger brand with two new variants, the Avenger Street 150 and the Avenger Street 220. The standard model was christened as the Avenger Cruise 220.

In the latest news, the Indian motorcycle manufacturer has launched two new shades for the Avenger series. While Street 220 receives a shade of Matte Wild Green, the Street 150 benefits from a Cosmic Red paint job. The models were earlier available only in Matte Black and Midnight Blue respectively.

Powering the models will be the same engine as seen during the launch late last year. This means that Street 150 will be powered by a 150cc air-cooled DTS-i engine that is tuned to produce 14.54 Ps of power at 9000 rpm while the peak torque of 12.5 Nm comes up at 6500 rpm. Street 220 is powered by a 220cc oil cooled DTS-i motor that produces 19.03 PS at 8400 rpm while the peak torque of 17.5 Nm comes up at 7000 rpm. Both these engines send power to the rear wheel via a five-speed transmission.

The news comes more than two months after the home-grown brand launched a Desert Gold colour scheme for the Cruise 220. Prior to that, the model was only available in Divine Black paint scheme. The new colour schemes would be the only difference on the Street series as the looks and engine specs stand to remain the same. Prices for both the models remain unchanged with the Avenger Street 220 available at a price of Rs. 85,497 while the Avenger Street 150 could be yours for Rs. 75,500.
