The new bike is likely to be launched in the first quarter of the next fiscal and should help the Indian subsidiary of the Japanese bike maker giant to become the largest selling bike maker in the country. Powering the upcoming Honda Dream bike would be a 109cc, single cylinder, air cooled, four stroke engine that has a max power of 8.4 PS. This is the same engine that also powers the Dream Yuva and the Dream Neo. The upcoming bike will come with several features such as stylish body decals, alloy wheels, disc brake, an advanced instrument console and tubeless tyres.
Also joining this bike will be the all new Honda Activa 125 that was unveiled at the recently concluded Auto Expo 2014.
The recently unveiled Honda Activa 125 is powered by a 4 stroke, 125cc, single cylinder motor that has a max power of 8.6bhp at 6500rpm and peak torque of 10.12 Nm at 5500rpm. The engine comes mated to a V-Matic transmission and the new Activa variant will come equipped with a 190mm front disc brake.
So far, Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India has refrained from revealing the new Honda Activa 125 launch date but it is very probable that the scooter will be enter the highly competitive scooter segment of Indian bike market soon after the launch of the next motorcycle from Honda.
