Alpina B4 BiTurbo Coupe showcased in 2013 Tokyo Motor Show

Alpina, famous for its range of souped up Bimmers, ahs showcased the new Alpina B4 BiTurbo coupe at the ongoing 2013 Tokyo Motor Show.

As must be obvious to you, the new Alpina B4 BiTurbo coupe is based on the recently released BMW 4 Series coupe.

Powering the new B4 BiTurbo coupe is a twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that has a max power of 410 bhp and peak torque of 600 Nm. The engine comes attached to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The new B4 BiTurbo coupe is sufficiently potent to accelerate from zero to 100 kmph in a scant 4.2 seconds and has a top whack of 305 kmph. The new B4 is as quick to shed speeds as it is to gain it. Braking duties on the B4 is courtesy 370 mm discs at the front and 345 mm discs at the rear.

On the inside, the car remains almost unchanged, that is, if you ignore the new Lavalina leather upholstery, new floor mats and some Alpina badging.

Other additions include a stainless steel exhaust system and new 20 inch Alpina Classic wheels, show with Michelin pilot super-sport tires. The car also comes with a re-tuned suspension that bestows the car with better handling manners. It is being said that the Alpina B4 BiTurbo will get an option of an all-wheel drive system in some of the markets it will be sold in.

The  new Alpina B4 BiTurbo Coupe hits the dealerships in May next year
