3rd Eco-Friendly Electric Vehicle Expo to begin on December 23, 2016

Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Government of India will inaugurate the 3rd Eco-Friendly Electric Vehicle Expo (EV-EXPO) on 23rd December, 2016 at 10 am at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The EV-Expo 2016 shall witness participation from more than 200 Indian and International E-Vehicle companies. Over 500 business delegations from China, Germany, Sweden, Japan and other countries have confirmed their visit to EV-Expo. The expo will showcase the technological advancements in environment friendly electric 2/3/4 wheeler vehicles, component, services and products for the transportation of passengers and goods.

This year, a one day Conference on Policy Matters, Technology Innovations & Developments “Transforming E-Vehicles Industry” is being organized on 22nd Dec, 2016 a day prior to the opening of EV-Expo. This conference will be held to discuss and look into the issues, recommendations & growth prospects of the E-Vehicle industry in presence of Government officials [Centre / State]. These will include:

The expo promises to be a significant platform to create an imp ecosystem, explore and understand the technical, policy, market opportunities and challenges for the exhibitors, buyers, global leaders, opinion makers, Govt(s), media and raise awareness about green transportation, electric vehicles, battery rickshaws, E- carts, batteries, motors, components and accessories.

The EV-Expo in India is a great initiative that will go a long way in pushing electric vehicles as a reliable, efficient and most important, non-polluting mode for transportation among the masses.
