The 2016 Dodge Viper American Club Racer is Dodge and SRT’s ultimate hand-built, street-legal race car that is also perhaps the most poisonous Viper built till date. With significant upgrades, the ACR’s aero package boasts of delivering nearly a tonne of peak downforce at the car’s top speed through its massive adjustable dual-element carbon fiber rear wing and diffuser, a unique SRT hood with removable louvers, detachable front splitter and additional dive planes.

The Viper ACR slithers to its top speed of 285 kph courtesy of a normally aspirated 8.4-liter V10 that packs a venomous punch of 636 bhp and 813 Nm of torque – the most torque of any naturally aspirated sports-car engine in the world. Stopping power comes from fade resistance ACR-exclusive Carbon Ceramic Matrix 15-inch two-piece rotors and six-piston front calipers from Brembo. The Unique race-tuned suspension features 10-setting, double-adjustable, coil-over Bilstein racing shocks and unique race alignment delivering up to 3 inches of suspension height adjustment for fine tuning corner weight. Lightweight carpet, minimal three speaker audio, manual seats and Carbon Ceramic Matrix brakes offset added performance elements while maintaining optimal 50/50 weight distribution. All that performance goes to the tarmac via massive Kumho Ecsta V720 high-performance tires (295/25/19 front, 355/30/19 rear), designed specifically for the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR.
