The 10,000th unit of Tata Motors’ latest product offering, the Nexon, has rolled out from the Ranjangaon facility. The product was launched on September 21, 2017 in the Indian market. The 10,000th unit was painted in Moroccan Blue colour which is one of the five available options.
The new Nexon is the Company’s fourth iteration of the IMPACT design philosophy. The lifestyle compact SUV is targeted at the young at heart. With prices starting from INR 5.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new Tata Nexon is one of the most affordable compact SUVs in the Indian market.

The new Nexon is available with two engine options: a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a new 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol motor dlelivers 110 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque while the diesel motor is capable of producing 110 PS of power and 260 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are taken care of by a six speed manual gearbox as standard while an AMT variant is expected to arrive next year.
