You Cannot Ignore This Toyota Fortuner When It Prowls On The Streets

Ever since the Toyota Fortuner was first introduced in India, it has been bought in great numbers for its strong road presence. It is also quite popular amongst many customization houses who work on making the Fortuner even more macho. The Fortuner has been the most-selling premium seven-seater SUV in India since its introduction in 2009. The SUV is in its second generation since its sale began in 2016.

While we wait for the updated Fortuner to arrive here, we came across this customized Fortuner which further establishes the fact that when it comes to raw road presence, the Fortuner manages to punch well above its weight! The owner has made this already butch looking SUV even more imposing with certain cosmetic and performance upgrades.

The first and foremost thing that you will notice is the custom Magic Black paint job which makes us think, what’s better than a Fortuner? An all-black Fortuner! The paint alone manages to make this Fortuner stand apart from the sea of SUVs we see rolling on our streets. There’s a Thule roof box and bars so your luggage needs are well sorted. Just load up your things on the roof and get going to paint this Fortuner brown! It also comes installed with aftermarket headlamps and tail lamps.

After you’re done ogling at the paint job, the tyres will scream for your attention because they are bigger than the stock rubber. It gets 285/75/16 Cooper STT pro rubber wrapped on 16” 9J off-road rims. The tyres will also increase its off-road driving capabilities by providing the SUV with that much-needed traction when you go off the road.

Performance upgrades

The modifications aren’t limited to the cosmetic department as it also gets Profender 4 x 4 adjustable suspension upgrade with a 4” lift kit. This Fortuner coupled with the suspension upgrade rides higher than the stock vehicle. The suspension upgrade mated with bulky tyres will further enhance its off-road driving dynamics. It also features a BMC intake filter and a custom catback exhaust system. The owner has also installed a road snorkel which further reflects this Fortuner’s intent.
