Rats were running all around our empty stomachs already. So we quickly ordered breakfast and started gobbling like hogs. It was at that time that we were noticed by an anonymous film maker who was setting up his equipment on a car and having breakfast too. He had a look at us and thought we were a stunting group. He approached us and asked us whether they could shoot us on film. He intended to make a 3D film with us riding or stunting in the frame. It would take an hour which we did not have in our budget to spend. So, unfortunately we had to decline the offer. Soon we started our journey to Chandni Chowk, Pune.
The group of 11 bikes reached Pune in a while where we met the Pune riders. We halted in front of a small café in Chandi Chowk where Rash started briefing us about the ride ahead. We were instructed to take utmost care at the very much inviting curves of Lavasa since we weren’t familiar with the roads. Soon we left for Lavasa with Neerav Sinha leading the group. Within minutes, we started tackling hairpins after hairpins riding in a line one after the other, trying to scrape our knees on the tarmac. At the entrance of Lavasa city, the security personnel made a note of our vehicle registration numbers and then we proceeded ahead. After a while of cornering down slopes, we reached the base, a bridge over a river from where the city is visible. All members halted there and had a photo session after which we returned back to Chandni Chowk where we had lunch at a restaurant. Soon after lunch, the Mumbai team started their homeward journey.
