Honda CB Twister- More pics, details and specs

The Honda CB Twister is finally here! Honda Motorcycles & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd (HMSI), today have officially launched the Twister in New Delhi.

The Twister, which is heavily drawn by the CB1000RR, is powered by a 110cc engine develops 9 bhp of maximum power at 8000 rpm and 9Nm of maximum torque at 6000 rpm.

It will come in three variants – CB Twister kick start, alloy wheels and drum brakes; CB Twister electric start, alloy wheels and drum brakes and CB Twister electric start, alloy wheels and disc brake. It will come with 17 inches tubeless tyres and will have 240mm disc brake at the front. Front suspension has telescopic fork and the rear involves coil spring. The Twister weighing 108 kg stands with a ground clearance of 180 mm  and has a wheelbase of 1262 mm.

Instrumentation which includes the speedometer and fuel gauge is analogue while the tachometer, LED tail lamps and gas charged suspension are absent. The fuel tank capacity is 8 litres. The bike is equipped with maintenance free battery & viscous air filter which is in tune with the BS-III norms which will come into effect from April 2010.

The CB Twister will come with a price tag of Rs. 42, ooo (ex- showroom Delhi) and will be available in five colors- Pearl night, star black, pearl Fuji blue, pearl amble yellow, candy comic green and pearly sienna red.
