Honda Motorcycles India did mention that they have an all-new bike lined up for India. Showcased at the Auto Expo 2018, the Honda XBlade sports futuristic styling with some sharp cuts and elements all around. But it isn’t really a screamer.
The Honda XBlade is powered by an air-cooled single cylinder 162.71cc engine which cranks out 13.93 bhp of power @ 8,500 rpm and 13.9 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. All that is transferred to the rear wheel via a 5-speed gearbox and the bike features a self-starter.
2013mm in length, 786mm in width and 1115mm tall, the XBlade boasts of 160mm of ground clearance and gets front telescopic forks with a rear monoshock. The front tyre is a 80/100 section, while the rear is 130/70 tubeless type tyre. The bike gets a front disc brake which measures 276mm and a rear 130mm drum brake. Oh and it gets an LED headlamp, gear position indicator, hazard switch, service due indicator and will be launched in the first week of March 2018.
